Today's trip to Versailles was stymied for me by the impossibility to drive my power wheelchair over the blocks, similar to cobblestone, only much larger. Each block had about a 3/4 inch drop causing a major jarring thunk. By the time I had carefully negotiated approximately 50 feet, my back, bad knee, and replaced hip were in pain. And I still had some 200 yards to go to the entrance.
